MADE TO MOVE

🧭 Challenge Review

For December we challenged ourselves to compile this year’s biggest lessons, travel takeaways, and fitness milestones. With this we will create a story or a post that we will carry with us into the next year, 2026.

Why does this matter?

December is the month of clarity. It’s where the noise settles, the pace slows, and the real lessons finally surface.

This challenge is about looking back at how you moved this year – physically, mentally, emotionally, geographically – and shaping it into a story you’ll carry into next year.

Most people rush into the new year without ever acknowledging what they survived, what they started, and how far they actually came.

This month, we pause.
We remember.
We honor the journey.
And we document the growth.

In the first week we went through our memories, photos, videos, notes, location histories, fitness trackers, journal entries, old itineraries, and pretty much everything we could to recall our entire year.

📋 Week 2 - Extract the Lessons

For the second week I tried to make meaning out of the memories

Sort out insights into three simple categories:

  1. Travel Takeaways

    1. What did new environments teach you?

    2. What place made you feel the most alive?

    3. Where were you forced to grow?

  2. Fitness Milestones

    1. What movements felt easier this year?

    2. What disciplines stuck, even when life got messy?

    3. What did you start doing for your body that you’re proud of?

  3. Life Lessons (Your Big 3)

    1. A hard-earned truth

    2. A mindset shift

    3. A habit the changed you

Your goal: Make meaning out of your memories

✍️ Week 3 - Write Your Story

You can use this simple story telling structure if you’d like:

The year you moved - Story template

  1. Where I started (How the year opened: Mindset, location, health, goals)

  2. What moved me (Experiences, trips, breakthroughs, setbacks)

  3. What I learned (You top takeaways, framed as transformation)

  4. Where I’m heading next (What do you want to carry into next year?)

Your goal: Take your lessons to write your own story of 2025

🍂 Week 4 - Final Week

Keep refining your story and by next Sunday share and celebrate! Well send off 2025 with clarity, gratitude, and intention while welcoming 2026 with hope, intention, and growth.

💪 Challenge Reminders

  1. Don’t Chase Perfect, Chase Progress — Perfect execution isn’t the goal. Forward is the goal. Even crawling forward beats standing still.

  2. Don’t Compare Your Challenge to Someone Else’s — Your path is yours. Someone else’s day 100 might look like your day 3, and that’s okay. Stay in your lane.

Let December Be Your Turning Point
A pivot. A decision.
A moment you’ll point back to and say:
“That’s when everything started changing.”

Until next time,
