MADE TO MOVE

🧭 December Recap - Connecting the dots

In December, we challenged you to reflect on this past year, 2025, to turn your biggest lessons, travel takeaways, and fitness milestones into a story, your story that you will carry with you in the new year.

Throughout 2025, we’ve been collecting dots.
Each dot is a moment, a trip, a hard conversation, a workout, a mistake, a lesson learned the long way.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward.”
Steve Jobs

Looking back is rarely comfortable. But it’s necessary.

The December challenge, reflecting on the past year, was harder than I expected. Remembering everything was one thing. Turning those memories into lessons was another. Some lessons surfaced quietly. Others hit like a brick.

Mistakes happened. Loss happened. Disappointments happened.
But one truth kept showing up again and again:

What you do next matters more than what you did last.
Alex Hormozi

Reflection doesn’t change the past, but it does shape the future.

🌄 January Challenge: The Sunrise Steps

A new year.
A blank page.
A chance to start strong.

This month’s challenge, as always, is simple, but not easy:

Watch the sunrise and take 5,000 steps every morning.

☀️ Lessons from the sun

The sun becomes our teacher.
It rises at nearly the same time every day, steady, reliable, non-negotiable.

Let it be your benchmark.

Catching the sunrise means choosing discipline before comfort.
Walking 5,000 steps jumpstarts your body and your mind, building momentum for everything that follows.

Because just like physics reminds us:

An object in motion tends to stay in motion.

💪 Start the Year Strong

By the end of January:

  • 31 sunrises

  • 155,000 steps

  • A year that already feels different

Set your alarm.
Meet the sun.
Get moving.

🔁 Alternative Challenge Options

(For those whose schedules don’t allow sunrise mornings)
Can’t Catch the Sunrise? No Problem.
Life doesn’t run on one schedule. Neither should growth.
If sunrise mornings aren’t realistic, choose an alternative that still honors the intention: start your day (or shift) with movement, presence, and momentum.
The goal isn’t perfection, it’s rhythm.

Challenge Alternative:

Within 30 minutes of waking, take 5,000 steps or complete 30 minutes of intentional movement.

Rules:

  • No phone scrolling before movement

  • No emails, no socials

  • Just you and your body waking up together

Wishing you all the best in 2026! Happy New Year! 😄
